If there is indeed a mythical icon attached to Saint-Tropez, it is Brigitte Bardot.
A true star, the one who turned exclusively on the side of the animal cause since the 1970s remains one of the most famous French artists in the world. The famous actress is honoured at this exhibition, an opportunity to learn more about the famous B. B.
The Saint-Tropez Gendarmerie and Cinema Museum presents until January 15, 2018 an exhibition of unpublished photographs, most often done by local or amateur photographers, showing the most famous of our citizens in her environment Tropezian.
Natural. Like Brigitte Bardot. This is how one of the world icons will be presented. Indeed, the young actress has posed in famous places of the peninsula, on the pontoon of the Madrague or on the hull in varnish of a Riva, become mythical in the world of the nautical one.
'What will make this exhibition unique,' said her husband, Bernard d'Ormale. 'Here we will not see the star but the woman, on images taken exclusively in the village.'
This event will precede another, probably in May, that of the unveiling of a bronze statue of Brigitte Bardot on the square in front of the museum.
A world icon, unpublished images, an already famous place : everything seems well combined to make this exhibition a very popular event, just two steps away from the new Barnes International agency, located 7 Rue du 8 Mai 1945, near the Post Office .
